Saturday, June 15, 2024 was the last day of U2 Umpire Training (Basic\/Advanced). No fewer than 13 participants participated and successfully completed the Training!<\/p>\n

This training was provided again by Marwin Kleinmoedig, Ric Zwanenberg and Giovanni Meulens.<\/p>\n

Thanks to KNBSB, Ministry of VWS, as well as the aforementioned gentlemen who take time off to share their knowledge and experience as part to help our favorite sport develop and grow.<\/p>\n

The intention is to continue to develop our local umpires and to have a “Train the trainer” program started under the guidance of Giovanni Meulens so that we can also develop trainers locally and in the region. It is also the intention that all participants who get their U2 certificate to have also continue to actively participate in the sessions, called “Let’s Talk Umpire,” but also go out on the field to gain more experience.<\/p>\n

Congratulations and we hope to see you on the field.<\/p>\n
