This initiative is a collaboration between FBSB and its partners, on which we have been working diligently for two years. The goal? To revitalize and structurally grow youth softball for girls on Bonaire.   <\/p>\n<p>To best prepare the teams, several activities have already been organized that got them moving again, literally and figuratively:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In cooperation with Indebon, we started organizing the &#8220;Girls Softball Fastpitch Bash&#8221; in 2023. This year already the third edition took place. <\/li>\n<li>We offered several clinics, with both local and international coaches.<\/li>\n<li>A successful Open Day was organized.<\/li>\n<li>Thanks to support from KNBSB and the Ministry of VWS, we were able to distribute training materials this year so that the girls could start with fun and proper equipment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Now it is time for the next step: a first youth competition. This one will act as a pilot, but one thing is for sure &#8211; you have to start somewhere. And we do so with pride and enthusiasm!  <\/p>\n<p><strong>Dates &amp; locations:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Girls ages 9 to 14:<\/strong> Sept. 19, 20 and 21 &#8211; <em>Jossy Boekhoudt Ballpark<\/em><\/li>\n<li><strong>Girls ages 13 to 17:<\/strong> Nov. 28, 29 and 30 &#8211; <em>Dudy Josephia Ballpark<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Register:<\/strong><br \/>\nOrganizations can register their teams with Chynesca Cornelia at <a href=\"https:\/\/wa.me\/5997844997\"><strong>+599 784 4997<\/strong><\/a> (click here to contact us directly via WhatsApp).<br \/>\nPlease send the following information:<br \/>\na. Team name<br \/>\nb. Player list (name + date of birth) &#8211; this may be changed later. We will communicate the final deadline soon.<br \/>\nc.
