Our 9U team lost 6-1 to Puerto Rico in the semifinals today, but the experience is invaluable.
We are incredibly proud of all these young people and of the coaches who have guided them to represent our island and our flag on the global stage.
CONGRATULATIONS: Making it to the World Series is a huge accomplishment, and then reaching the semifinals on top of that… amazing ❤️⚾️💪🏾.
THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO MADE THIS POSSIBLE FOR OUR YOUTH. Of course, thanks to the parents, all the fans who traveled to the United States, and the entire population of Bonaire who followed the kids throughout the tournament. We’ll keep saying it: let’s continue to believe in sports, let’s continue to believe in the future of our young people. Because if we don’t believe in them, who will?
It takes a whole community…
